Build strong relationships by regularly liaising with clients. Train and develop laboratory technicians, ensuring all staff are fully trained. Maintain operational efficiency, ensuring equipment is calibrated and fully functional. Enforce health, safety, and quality procedures and standards. Compile detailed lab and site reports with accuracy and professionalism. Act as the deputy for the Laboratory Manager when required. Qualifications & Requirements: Education & Training: Minimum GCSE Grade C in Maths & English (Higher Grades desirable). Full, clean UK driving license (essential). Knowledge & Experience: At least 5-10 years of experience in the construction testing industry. Strong understanding of industry standards and procedures. Experience in UKAS assessments and compliance. Proven ability to meet client expectations and build strong relationships. Skills & Abilities: Strong leadership and team development skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities. Ability to work collaboratively and independently. Creative and critical thinking for problem-solving. High attention to detail and professionalism when engaging with clients. A strong commitment to health & safety in all operations.
