A world leading aircraft manufacturer has an exciting job opportunity to join its Engineering team in the UK. We are looking for a Systems Installation Integrator to join the advanced engineering team working on Wing Systems Installation.
About the Role:
The Wing Systems Installation Team plays a key role in delivering high-quality, optimized wing systems installation designs on time and within budget.
The successful candidate will join the Systems Installation Integration Team, supporting frontline plant engineering activities. They will be part of a small team co-located at the Broughton Plant. Given the dynamic nature of the team, the role covers multiple systems, including Fuel, Hydraulics, Pneumatics, and Electrics across the Wing perimeter. Prior experience in Systems Installation is required, and holding a signature delegation in this area is preferred but not essential.
Key Responsibilities:
* Represent the Filton Design Team in Broughton across all programs.
* Manage day-to-day manufacturing issues, such as non-conformities and design updates.
* Work closely with suppliers and stakeholders to resolve wing/aircraft delivery blockers.
* Ensure integration across all program streams, collaborating across teams and locations.
* Foster a feedback-driven culture, focusing on customer needs and stakeholder relationships.
* Provide support to Final Assembly Lines (FALs) worldwide.
Required Skills:
* CATIA Experience
* System knowledge opposed to structures
* Experience in fluid, mechanical, or electrical systems installations.
* Strong communication skills, agility, and teamwork.
* Systems installation signature delegation is desirable.
* Ability to lead and deliver operational projects, driving steady progress and embracing change.
* Strong decision-making skills in a complex stakeholder environment.
* A people-first approach with a focus on well-being and collaboration.
