The role will involve supporting different teams within the company whilst working towards an Advanced Level 3 Business qualification. We love to encourage and develop our apprentices and watch them flourish and grow within their roles.

Work
As an apprentice, you’ll work at a company and get hands-on experience. You’ll gain new skills and work alongside experienced staff.
What you’ll do at work
Responsibilities and Duties:
* Update, print and deliver fire labels for our products
* Check daily schedule orders to ensure no logistical issues arise
* Prepare paperwork and documents for orders going into fulfilment centres
* Collect data, record data and present information - producing reports for management
* Accepting, inputting and processing orders for channels
* Check over documents to ensure they match haulage invoices
* Use of Excel to product reports
* Monthly sales figures analysis/inputting
* Produce fire testing paperwork
* General filing and admin duties
* Checking invoices and delivery notes
* Supply refreshments to visitors and management
* Assisting all members of the team as and when required
* Dealing with requests for information
* Assist in the training of other team members
* Ensure a safe and tidy workspace, with the ‘tidy as you go’ mentality
* Support and assist with any operational changes and health and safety improvements
* Assist in the safe movement and control of visitors on site
* Ensure health and safety is adhered to
* Focus on detail and quality when carrying out tasks
* Ensuring that the policies of the company are observed, and that good practice is encouraged, particularly in the areas of Health & Safety, Equal Opportunities, and confidentiality

Course contents
* Skilled in the use of multiple IT packages and systems relevant to the organisation in order to: write letters or emails, create proposals, perform financial processes, record and analyse data. Examples include MS Office or equivalent packages. Able to choose the most appropriate IT solution to suit the business problem. Able to update and review databases, record information and produce data analysis where required.
* Produces accurate records and documents including: emails, letters, files, payments, reports and proposals. Makes recommendations for improvements and present solutions to management. Drafts correspondence, writes reports and able to review others' work. Maintains records and files, handles confidential information in compliance with the organisation's procedures. Coaches others in the processes required to complete these tasks.
* Exercises proactivity and good judgement. Makes effective decisions based on sound reasoning and is able to deal with challenges in a mature way. Seeks advice of more experienced team members when appropriate.
* Builds and maintains positive relationships within their own team and across the organisation. Demonstrates ability to influence and challenge appropriately. Becomes a role model to peers and team members, developing coaching skills as they gain area knowledge.
* Demonstrates good communication skills, whether face-to-face, on the telephone, in writing or on digital platforms. Uses the most appropriate channels to communicate effectively. Demonstrates agility and confidence in communications, carrying authority appropriately. Understands and applies social media solutions appropriately. Answers questions from inside and outside of the organisation, representing the organisation or department.

The successful candidate will be enrolled on the Level 3 Business Administration apprenticeship standard.
Level 3 Business Administration Apprenticeship Standard, which includes:
* Level 2 Functional Skills in maths and English (if required)
* Full, on-the-job training will be provided by the employer, with 20% off the job training as a requirement
* End-Point Assessment (EPA)
* Visits with the tutor/assessor will be conducted via webinars
