PERMANENT ROLE – Monday to Friday - £33,953.40 per annum
Class 1 HGV Lorry Driver needed as part of our general haulage supply chain based out of Middlewich .
* £14.51 per hour
* £33,953.40 per annum
* Start times between 04:00 – 08:00
* Monday - Friday
* 45 hours per week minimum
* 5 from 7 contract
* £18.13 scheduled overtime after 45 hours worked
* £24.68 per hour - hours worked on bank holidays
* £20.55 - 6th shift overtime non scheduled
* £25.42 - 7th shift Sunday overtime non scheduled
* £1.40 – Night premium
* £1.41 – Sunday premium
* 28 days annual leave including statutory public holiday
* For every driver that you refer, you can earn an impressive £1,000 (subject to conditions)
Shifts are Monday to Friday with starts between 04:00 and 08:00, flexibility around these times may be required.
You will be delivering and collecting from several sites with an average of 1 to 4 drops per day across the UK in accordance with customer requirements on time critical deliveries and collections.
Due to the nature of this role, occasional nights out maybe required.

How will you contribute?
* Responsible for the accurate, timely movement and delivery of our customers’ products.
* Adhering to safe working practices to ensure the safety of yourself and others at all times.
* Securing load of the trailer to ensure products are safely secured to minimise chances of damage.
* Provide excellent customer service at all times and to take ownership of customer issues on delivery.
* Carry out multi-drop deliveries within the delivery window in a safe manner.
* Be aware of the vehicle defects and bring to the attention of Transport Office as necessary.
* Attend essential training in order to carry out the Driver role.
* Requirement to complete updates and daily tasks utilising the provided interactive device (PDA)
What will you bring?
* Must have valid in date Class 1 licence
* Must hold a valid Driver Certificate of Professional Competence (DCPC Card)
* Must hold Digital Tachograph card
* Must not have more than 6 points on licence
* 12 months Class 1 driving experience
* Possess excellent customer facing awareness skills
* Good timekeeper and able to work unsupervised
* Enthusiastic and reliable with a commitment to delivering 1st class customer service
* Must have good communication skills and a flexible can-do attitude to work
* Must have a good geographical knowledge
