We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Finance Assistant to join our existing team, based at our Head Office in Basingstoke.
This role is offered on a hybrid basis, with the expectation of two days per week in the office.
The role:
As Finance Assistant, you will report into the Commercial Controller, supporting the FP&A team in preparing financial information to support Group activities. This role offers plenty of scope for career growth and development.
* Supporting commercial controller with sales trend analysis of Advanced Technology business.
* Assisting in preparing the group monthly management accounts data pack.
* Monthly journal postings, prepayments, accruals and balance sheet reconciliations.
* Supporting budget and forecasting processes.
* Assisting in the year end audit process.
What are we looking for?
As Finance Assistant, you will have the following:
* AAT Qualified or equivalent.
* Some relevant industry experience.
* Good technical accounting knowledge.
* Competent in taking ownership of posting journals and balance sheet reconciliations.
* Good personal, organisational, and clerical skills.
* Willingness to be proactive and make suggestions.
* Able to work to tight deadlines and manage time effectively.
* Actively seeks opportunities for improvement.
