Professional Development Lawyer (Clinical Negligence & Personal Injury)
Browne Jacobson – Birmingham, City and Borough of Birmingham
This role can be based from either our Nottingham, Birmingham or Manchester offices
We’re seeking an experienced clinical negligence and personal injury solicitor to join our Knowledge Management department as a Professional Development Lawyer (PDL), supporting our litigation practice.
This opportunity would suit an experienced litigator who is keen to take control of their time and deliver a quality service to our litigation practice.
The role can be flexible – for example, working around school hours can be accommodated.
This role can be based from either our Nottingham, Birmingham or Manchester offices and we offer flexibility to work from home, too. Our expectation is that, on average, you’ll work from home for no more than three days per week, with the remainder of your time either spent with your colleagues in the office or working from other locations as work demands dictate.
To be successful and thrive in the role, you’ll have experience of working in a clinical negligence and/or personal injury litigation environment, with excellent technical legal knowledge of clinical negligence and personal injury litigation. Experience working as a PDL would be desirable, but not essential. You’ll have excellent legal drafting skills, with the ability to write in a straightforward, clear and succinct way.
We nurture talent at all levels and from every background and celebrate what makes people individuals. Law needs all voices to reflect the society it serves and we’re working towards social mobility, diversity and inclusion in our firm - and our profession. We strive to create meaningful personal and professional development opportunities and offer flexible working in support of a good work-life balance.
We focus on wellbeing and individuality, so that all our people can thrive.
We’re a Disability Confident Employer and will offer an interview to disabled applicants who best meet the minimum/essential criteria for the role.
