The Opportunity
Due to continued growth and expansion, we're looking for an experienced Transactional Finance Manager to join our finance team and support the Head of Finance Shared Services. This is an exciting new role designed to enhance operational efficiency and financial control across our UK sites. The Role
As the Transactional Finance Manager, you'll lead our Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Billing, and Credit Control functions, ensuring best-in-class service and control across the transactional finance landscape. You'll be responsible for managing a multi-site team, improving financial processes, and driving cash flow management across the group. This is a highly visible role that involves close collaboration with senior stakeholders and the wider business.
Key Responsibilities
* Manage Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Billings, and Credit Control functions across 3 UK sites
* Oversee trade spend management in collaboration with Commercial teams and Business Partners
* Lead a team of 8 transactional finance professionals
* Drive monthly and period-end reporting for both business and group level
* Manage the audit process and relationships with external auditors
* Improve and maintain robust internal financial controls and processes
* Lead the cash management process and drive improved cash flow across the group
* Support systems and process improvement initiatives
* Deliver project management support for finance and operational initiatives
* Develop and implement finance operations policies and procedures
* Collaborate with senior stakeholders to support business growth and compliance
* Contribute to improving financial performance and cost efficiency
* Provide ad-hoc support and deliver on special projects as required
Knowledge, Skills & Experience
* Proven experience in a similar Transactional Finance Manager role
* Strong leadership and people management experience across multi-site teams
* Background in high-volume, fast-paced finance environments
* Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
* Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
* Advanced Excel and solid financial systems experience
* Experience in driving process improvement and managing change
