Role - Semi-Skilled Labourer
Location - Paisley
What you will be doing:
* Control plant movements with Yard
* Loading and unloading materials from deliveries, ensuring they are stored correctly and securely.
* General housekeeping duties within the premises
* Conducting stock taking and recording inventory to ensure materials are available for ongoing projects.
* Drilling, cutting, and dressing materials as per project requirements.
* Plate chasing, ensuring materials are properly prepared for fabrication or assembly.
* Carrying out general labour duties to support the workshop and site teams.
* Assisting with workshop-based fabrication tasks, including handling materials and tools.
* Attending site to assist site teams with the installation of steelwork as required.
Requirements:
* Proven experience in fabrication or a similar workshop-based environment.
* Valid CSCS (Construction Skills Certification Scheme) card.
* Valid CPCS / NPORS Telehandler certification.
* Strong understanding of health and safety procedures on construction sites and in workshops.
* Ability to use a range of workshop tools and machinery, including drills & cutting equipment.
* Excellent organizational skills for stock taking and material handling.
* Physically fit and able to perform manual labour tasks.
* Good communication skills and ability to work effectively as part of a team.
