A great opportunity has arisen for a technical support engineer to join a leading manufacturing company who supply world class products to the offshore industry Job Description: Ensure that products meet market and customer requirements. Create and manage build, test, and production procedures. Oversee and update user manuals for electronic systems. Conduct online product demonstrations and create digital content like webinars. Provide technical insights for sales and marketing materials. Handle customer support inquiries and document corrective actions. Ensure products meet or exceed market standards through testing. Log and review customer support issues and take corrective actions. Work closely with internal teams to translate technical specifications into user-friendly documentation. Occasionally visit customers to provide technical support and gather feedback. Beneficial Skills / Qualifications: Educated in an electronical or electric background Proficiency in Microsoft Word, understanding of electrical and hydraulic diagrams, and ability to write technical reports. Manufacturing environment experience, ideally from a hands-on tool based role Customer facing Ability to produce technical reports / manuals Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, creativity, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team. Additional Information: 37 hours per week – 8.30am to 4.30pm Mon-Thurs and 8.30am to 4pm Friday (flexi-time is available) 25 days holidays and 8 bank holidays 5% pension Private healthcare 2 x base salary life insurance
