Croydon CAMHS are excited to advertise 2 Band 7 Clinical Nurse Specialist roles within the Croydon CAMHS Crisis Team
We have a full term substantive post (1 WTE) as well as a part time option (22.5 hours).
Both posts open to registered Nurses/Social Workers/ Occupational Therapist or equivalent who have experience in CAMHS or risk assessment work.
Successful applicant will form a close working relationship with peers, Clinical Service Lead and other professionals and networks how provide care to young people presenting in A&E..
The post holder will provide, or advise on the delivery of high quality and safe care, ensuring consistently high standards of practice and clinical excellence which comply with the Trust and their registering body. The post holder will be a positive role model to other members of the team through the practice of evidence-based care and be expected to support professional development through clinical appraisal and supervision.
The successful applicant/s will assess and manage young people presenting at Croydon University Hospital in mental health crisis and their families, carers, and related professionals. They will co-ordinate and deliver discharge planning and follow up appointments alongside CAMHS colleagues of individualised care for adolescents and their families and evaluate these programmes, ensuring high standards of practice in accordance with national guidelines and Trust policy.

fostering a positive learning environment.
