Leader Education are recruiting a Mental Health Learning Support Assistant (LSA to work at a Social Emotional Mental Health (SEMH) School based in Newcastle. The ideal LSA will have experience working with children who need additional support with their emotional and behavioural needs, as well as experience in working with children ages 5 to 16 years old. The normal working pattern is Monday-Friday 8:30am until 4:00pm and is a long-term position. The successful candidate will have: Strong classroom management skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Adaptability and a commitment to meeting the diverse needs of students. Build strong relationships with students, offering emotional support and guidance to help them overcome barriers to learning. Proficiency in utilising technology for teaching and learning purposes.
