The opportunity has arisen for an experienced Full-time Specialty Doctor with a responsibility in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery for Nottingham University Hospitals NHS Trust.
The successful applicant will join an existing team of 6 Speciality Doctors to provide high quality Maxillofacial care. The successful candidate would deliver outpatient clinics for general routine maxillofacial patients and perform surgical procedures; including Day Case theatre. The post holder would be expected to work in a team and to participate in departmental meetings.
The appointee will be expected to fulfil the following duties with the agreed Job Plan.
The appointee will, together with senior colleagues, be responsible for the provision of a comprehensive Maxillofacial Service. The successful candidate will work flexibly and co-operatively with other members of the team to provide a high quality, comprehensive service within this teaching hospital environment. The main roles and responsibility are the diagnosing, managing and treating of patients referred to the service. This will involve conducting outpatient clinics and undertaking surgical interventions and systemic treatment. The clinical elements will be agreed with the management team prior to commencing in post.
