We are currently seeking Teaching Assistants to join a welcoming and inclusive primary school located in North Bristol. Boasting a fantastic reputation for creating a nurturing environment for all pupils, this three-form entry school is looking for three teaching assistants to support in various year groups.
Your role as a Teaching Assistant:
* Provide one-on-one and small group support to KS2 pupils with autism.
* Implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to each child's needs.
* Assist in creating a safe, stimulating, and inclusive classroom environment.
* Support pupils' social and emotional development through structured activities and interventions.
* Collaborate with teachers, SENCo, and other support staff to ensure cohesive and comprehensive support.
* Monitor and track pupils' progress, providing regular feedback to teachers and parents.
* Foster a positive and encouraging learning environment that promotes independence and self-confidence.
Requirements:
* Previous experience working with children with autism is preferred
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
* Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for supporting children with special educational needs.
* Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
* A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
