An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Catering Supervisor to join our Facilities Team at Carleton Clinic, Cumbria.
This post will be offered as Full Time 37.5 hours working Monday to Friday.
Main duties of the job
To provide a high quality service for patients and staff.
Supervise the duties of Service Assistants, in preparation of the food service for patients and staff, to comply with requirements in terms of quality, quantity, presentation and cost as well as comply with the Company's Food Hygiene Policy.

Person Specification
Knowledge and Skills
* Effective written and verbal skills.
* Have ability and confidence to make decisions.
* Organisational skills.
* Professional telephone manner
* A sound knowledge of Food Preparation is essential
* Sound knowledge of all aspects of food service.
* In depth knowledge of hygiene and health and safety legislation
* Must be able to meet the mobility requirements of the post
Experience
* Experience with different types of food service
* Experience in a supervisory role
* Experience with cashiers duties and operating a till
* Experience within catering
Qualifications
* Intermediate Food hygiene Certificate
* Hold a recognised Catering Qualification such as NVQ Levels 1 and 2, and work to gain a NVQ Level 3 supervisory qualification or equivalent essential

This post is subject to the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act (Exceptions Order) 1975 and as such it will be necessary for a submission for Disclosure to be made to the Disclosure and Barring Service (formerly known as CRB) to check for any previous criminal convictions.
Pay: Band B (£14.14 per hour)
We pay 25% enhancement, time and a quarter, on hours worked during a Saturday and Sunday.
£27,641 a year per annum pro rata (if applicable)
