Job Summary
You will provide support to patients within the hospital and community setting regarding all aspects of Community Peritoneal Dialysis.
You will be supported within the role with ongoing training which includes the renal foundation programme.
Main Duties of the Job
You will possess or be working towards NVQ level 3 in health and social care or equivalent. The job is both exciting and challenging where team work is essential and initiative is paramount. Excellent communication, confidence, and compassion are essential along with interpersonal and IT skills.
You must have a full driver's license and access to a roadworthy car. Business insurance is required.
Salford Royal Foundation Trust is a tertiary center for Renal patients, serving the West of Greater Manchester with inpatient, outpatient, and in-center hemodialysis.
You will be providing care for patients and families on peritoneal dialysis at home and in hospital across the west sector of Greater Manchester.
We also have teams supporting community peritoneal and home haemodialysis as well as Chronic Kidney Disease (CKD) management on site.

Qualifications Essential
* NVQ Level 3 in Healthcare or a Level 3 Senior Healthcare Support Worker Apprenticeship - or equivalent experience
* Level 1 Literacy and Numeracy (GCSE English and Maths Grade D-G)
