At Teaching Personnel, we are working with a primary school in Middleton, are actively seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to start in the school as soon as possible. The successful candidate will be an integral part of the schools teaching team, supporting classroom teachers in delivering high-quality education and helping to ensure that all students thrive. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced TA looking to take the next step in their career. Essential Skills & Qualifications: HLTA Qualification or equivalent (Level 4 or above). Experience working in a primary school setting, preferably with experience in supporting children with a range of needs, including SEN. Strong understanding of the National Curriculum and educational practices. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. A caring, patient, and empathetic approach to working with children. Strong organisational skills with attention to detail. A commitment to the values of inclusivity and equality in education. Desirable Attributes: Additional training or experience in special educational needs (SEN), such as working with children with autism, dyslexia, or speech and language needs. Knowledge of using educational technology to enhance learning. A proactive approach and the ability to adapt to the diverse needs of students.
