We are seeking a Van Driver to join Big C part-time to support the day-to-day operation of our busy Distribution Centre at Wymondham. This role is for an experienced delivery driver who can put their skills to use for a meaningful cause.

As a regional cancer charity, Big C is here to support anyone in Norfolk and North Suffolk affected by cancer, from diagnosis and treatment through to life beyond cancer. We support anyone that needs us including those with a cancer diagnosis, their family and loved ones.
Big C provides outstanding holistic support, aiming to improve lives through services at the charity’s eight warm and welcoming Support Centres and Hubs. Alternatively, support is offered via video chat or by telephone through Big C’s Virtual Support Centre. All services are free of charge, including person-centred counselling, complementary treatments, group support, welfare guidance, exercise and nutrition programmes and bereavement support. A friendly welcome and listening ear are guaranteed at Big C.
Founded in Norfolk over 40 years ago, Big C has raised over £45 million to fund its growing services. About the role
In this active and varied role as our part-time Van Driver, you will be part of a small team of drivers providing an efficient and reliable distribution service to Big C's shops and other premises; arranging collections from businesses and domestic premises including bagged and boxed items, furniture and loose items. As well as supporting all Big C activities, this role contributes to the overall success of the retail operations.
As a successful candidate, you must have a full driving license and experience in driving Transit and Luton sized vans. Due to the manual handling involved, you should have a good level of fitness to be able to lift and carry donated items including furniture.
The working hours are 21 hours per week to be worked flexibly over 3 days.
The salary from 1st April 2025, is £13,529.78 to £13,635.19 per annum (£22,529.61 to £22,725.32 full time equivalent). £12.36 to £12.45 per hour.
