We currently have over 350 students at Malden Oaks. Despite our relatively small size we are committed to offering a broad and balanced curriculum which currently includes 18 GCSE subjects to allow students a huge choice and develop their interests. We also have a growing number of students with more complex needs. We support all our students in developing positive relationships, self-confidence, resilience, and creativity.
The post holder needs to be able to teach a range of subjects but you would be supported by subject specialists in order to do this. Tuition is carried out predominantly in 1:1 settings in our school sites, in the community and in students’ homes.
This school is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people and expects all staff to share this commitment. All new staff will be required to undertake a DBS check and carry out safeguarding training.
