About the Role
We're in search of a dynamic and astute Operations & Finance Manager with proven experience in operations and finance within the alcoholic beverage industry (exposure to the US market is considered a strong advantage) to join our close-knit team of 12 in our vibrant West London office. As a detail-oriented and independent thinker who thrives in a collaborative environment, you'll be motivated to take ownership of the operational function within an ambitious, fast-paced start-up environment.

The Opportunity
At the heart of our operations, you'll be the driving force behind the scenes, bridging the gap between finance and execution. You'll play a vital role in shaping our operational framework, optimising our supply chain, and scaling activities as we continue to grow our portfolio of award-winning drinks brands. This includes taking ownership of production planning, expertly managing stock levels, negotiating favourable agreements with suppliers, and ensuring compliance with tax regulations. Your strong finance background will be essential in this role, allowing you to seamlessly connect operational decisions with financial outcomes. This understanding will also enable you to support the finance team with month-end reporting, provide cover for colleagues, and contribute to the development of robust financial controls.

Role Responsibilities:
* Operational Management:
* Take ownership of production planning for Italicus & Savoia.
* Oversee procurement of POS materials (glasses, carafes, etc.) to support marketing campaigns.
* Manage and optimise stock levels to meet demand while minimising costs.
* Ensure compliant tax management for the procurement of materials, including managing the use of plafond as a manufacturer selling ex-works for export.
* Manage the full supply chain to identify opportunities to improve COGs.
* Oversee procurement of POS materials (glasses, carafes, etc.) to support marketing campaigns.
* Ensure robust price chains and commercial arrangements are in place to support new market rollout/product launches.
* Finance Team Support:
* Support the Finance Manager with month-end reporting and analysis.
* Provide cover for other members of the finance team during periods of absence.
* Contribute to the development and maintenance of financial controls and processes.

Requirements:
* Proven experience in a finance role within the alcoholic beverage industry.
* A full accountancy qualification (ACA, ACCA, or CIMA) is highly preferred but not essential if you have exceptional industry experience.
* Strong technical ability and experience in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, sumifs, vlookups, xlookups etc).
* Experience with accounting tools (Xero preferred).
