Team Manager - Short Break Services
Location: Surrey and West Sussex
Hours: 9am - 5pm, Tuesday to Saturday (Monday to Friday during term time)
Our client delivers inclusive and engaging short break clubs across Surrey and West Sussex for children and young people with disabilities and additional needs.
They are seeking an experienced and dynamic Team Manager to lead the operational delivery of these essential services, ensuring the highest standards of care and inclusivity for all beneficiaries.
Role
- You will oversee the management and delivery of short break services across various locations.
- You will lead a team of dedicated frontline staff, ensuring the safe and effective implementation of behavioural support plans and strategies for children and young people with complex needs.
- You will work collaboratively with partners to enhance the reach and quality of services, and actively involve children and young people in shaping the design, delivery, and evaluation of these programmes.
Responsibilities:
- Manage the operational delivery of short break clubs across Surrey and West Sussex.
- Provide effective line management and support to frontline staff.
- Develop and oversee behavioural support plans to ensure safe and inclusive environments.
- Design creative, engaging, and varied programmes of activities for children and young people.
- Collaborate with local partners to enhance the range and quality of services.
- Foster meaningful participation by children and young people in service evaluation and development.
Ideal Candidate:
- Demonstrable experience working with children and young people with disabilities or additional needs.
- Proven experience managing frontline staff and working with partner organisations to deliver positive outcomes.
- A creative approach to developing fun and educational activity programmes.
- Passion for providing high-quality, inclusive services.
- A full driving licence, enabling travel to different schemes as needed.
