£20 - £30 Per hour
Responsibilities:
* Plan and deliver engaging and effective English and Maths lessons to GCSE level students
* Assess and monitor students' progress, providing feedback and support as needed
* Develop tailored learning materials and resources to meet individual student needs
* Maintain accurate records of student attendance, achievements, and progress
* Collaborate with colleagues and parents to ensure a supportive learning environment
Qualifications:
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
* Bachelor's degree in Education or related field
* Specialism in English and Maths
* Minimum of 2 years teaching experience in English and Maths at GCSE level
* Experience working with students from diverse backgrounds and abilities
* Strong understanding of the GCSE curriculum and assessment requirements
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Ability to adapt teaching methods to meet the needs of individual students
* Effective classroom management and behaviour support techniques
* Additional training in special educational needs (SEN) support
Job Details:
* Part-Time role, with flexible hours
* Work in a classroom or tutoring environment
* Potential travel to student's homes for tutoring sessions
