Job Description:
Looking for a new job for 2025 that's filled with satisfaction you'd struggle to find anywhere else? You're in luck as we're on the lookout for a new female colleague to join our amazing #TeamLoudoun in Irvine on a permanent part-time (30 hours per week) basis.
The Role
Our team supports two amazing ladies. You'll assist both ladies with all aspects of daily living, including meal planning, cooking, housework, support to appointments, administering medication, and personal care. As both ladies are wheelchair users, there will be aspects of moving and assisting along with the use of tracking hoists.
The great thing about this job is that no two days are ever the same. Both ladies enjoy a variety of activities, including listening to music, attending discos, going to the theatre and cinema, shopping, and going on holidays. The ladies both have their own mobility cars and love going out for drives, so for this position, we will need you to have a full UK manual driving licence with at least one year of experience on the roads.
About you
You don't need experience or qualifications to start your career at Cornerstone; we're more interested in what you as an individual will bring to our team. We'll pay you for your training and will even fund your SCQ (SCQF level 6/7) and yearly SSSC registration fees!
All we'll need you to bring is:
* A caring attitude and approach.
* A positive approach to learning.
* Confidence in the use of computers.
* A full manual driving licence (minimum of 1 year experience).
Shift Patterns
As we're dedicated to providing around-the-clock support tailored to the needs of the ladies, shifts currently fall into patterns of 0830 - 2100 hours or 1200 - 2100 hours, 7 days a week, and will include sleepovers and weekends on a rotational basis. The sleepover part of your shift isn't calculated within your contracted hours, so you would be paid £96 for any sleepover worked.
Sound interesting? What are you waiting for? Apply today, we can't wait to hear from you!

Successful candidates will be required to join the Protection of Vulnerable Groups Scheme and be committed to working towards an SVQ in Social Services and Healthcare with the support from our Training Academy.
If you’re successful in joining our team, we will need you to register with the SSSC within 3 months of starting your employment with us.
*For this position, female is an Occupational Requirement as defined by the Equality Act 2010.
