About the Role: As an SEN Support Worker, you will work closely with teachers, SENCOs, and other professionals to provide targeted assistance to students with a range of special educational needs, including autism, ADHD, and speech & language difficulties. Your role will be vital in creating a nurturing and structured learning environment that promotes student confidence and engagement. Key Responsibilities: Provide one-to-one and small-group support to students with SEN. Assist in adapting lesson plans and activities to meet individual learning needs. Foster a positive, inclusive, and structured learning environment. Work collaboratively with teachers, SENCOs, and external professionals to implement personalised learning strategies. Support students in developing their social, emotional, and academic skills. Monitor and track student progress, providing feedback to staff and parents where necessary. Ensure the well-being and safeguarding of all pupils. Requirements: Previous experience working with children with SEN in an educational or support setting. A passion for supporting children with diverse learning needs. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Patience, empathy, and the ability to build positive relationships with students. Ability to work collaboratively with teachers and other school staff. Have an updated CV covering the last ten years (with any gaps explained).
