FP&A Manager /Project Analyst

We will rely on you to:
6. Provide consultative support to planning initiatives through financial and management information analysis, reports, insights, and recommendations.
7. Foster appropriate interaction with the business to help achieve goals such as growth, productivity, and profit improvement.
8. Lead and contribute to finance projects, including process improvements, system implementations, and automation initiatives.
9. Develop and direct the implementation of strategic business and operational plans, projects, programs, and systems, with a focus on finance and technology solutions.
10. Coordinate the collation of financial information, working with other Finance colleagues, to assist the CFO and team in managing the business unit.
11. Provide financial consulting and strategic support to senior management, including accurate, timely, and insightful analyses of key projects in the business unit.
12. Ensure the business receives robust KPIs to run the business, including coordinating the collection of performance indicators, highlighting trends, and analysing causes of variances to budget, forecast, and prior year.
13. Design and build technology solutions to enhance financial reporting, analysis, and decision-making processes.
14. Create meaningful and impactful presentations using PowerPoint to effectively communicate financial insights, project updates, and strategic recommendations
What you need to have:
15. Qualified accountant with significant experience of working in a large, matrixed organisation.
16. Strong financial analysis skills and experience in presenting financial results and forecasts to senior executives.
17. Experience in running a business budgeting process and conducting client-level analytical challenges.
18. Familiarity with finance change and transformational initiatives, including system implementations and process improvements.
19. Ability to work independently and as a team member with excellent interpersonal skills.
20. Advanced Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint skills, with a focus on building meaningful presentations.
What makes you stand out:
21. Experience with Oracle Financials or similar tools is strongly preferred.
22. Familiarity with technology solutions such as PowerBI, data visualization, and automation tools.
23. Experience within financial/professional services firm, particularly a broking firm.
