What will the Accounts Assistants at BWP do:
As Accounts Assistant, you will be the backbone of the finance team. This is a new role for the Finance Team and will see you supporting a Management Accountant and Director of Finance.
Your responsibilities will include:
* Accurately recording and keeping track of all financial transactions, invoicing clients, and managing debtors – managing bank reconciliation, purchase ledger, sales ledger and processing expenses.
* Supporting and assisting the wider finance team with their reporting and information gathering - providing colleagues with the data they need to complete management accounts, board reports and other ad hoc reports, audits and analysis.
* General financial admin including managing the finance email inbox and completing finance tasks in Synergist job accounting system.
What do I need to showcase in my CV to stand out?
We're looking for an accounts assistant with a minimum of 1 years’ relevant work experience in a similar finance related or administrative role.
You may have a related qualification, but this is not a requirement of the job. Rather, we are looking for someone who:
* Interviews well, showing a great understanding of financial practices and procedures
* Has a great attitude, a willingness to work hard and a thirst to learn and develop
* Is willing to take on the less glamourous stuff to support the team
* Is eager to pursue a career, and qualification, in accounts
Please note, this is a full-time, office-based position so you must have the ability to work from our Marlow town centre office five days a week
