Our studio is situated in a river-front building in the heart of the Historic Dockyard in Chatham, Kent, UK. We are growing fast, developing our games using cutting-edge technology and delivering these on multiple platforms: PC, PlayStation 4 and 5 and Xbox One and Series S/X.
We are looking for a Environment Artist to create realistic real-world locations within our Train Sim World titles. You will work as part of the internal art team to ensure our content is delivered on time and to a high standard of quality.
Job requirements
Main Responsibilities
* Creating high quality realistic worlds that adhere to performance budget limitations.
* Collaborating with the other members of the TSW team to deliver all required content for a Route / Content Pack.
* Maintaining the correct modelling and texture scale consistency.
* Following art pipelines, workflows, and performance budget limitations.
* Collaborate with the Artists and the Lead Artist to help set the visual bar for our railway environments.
Person Specifications
* Excellent professional knowledge of Unreal Engine.
* Ability and potential to create environments and art assets to the highest standard.
* Expert in 3D Studio Max, Photoshop, and Substance skills.
* An interest in real world construction and an eye for detail as well as an understanding of architectural principles and structural engineering.
