As an Approved Electrician, your role will involve carrying out various electrical installations of low voltage wiring and containment systems. You will also be responsible for testing and inspecting these installations.
Your key responsibilities will include:
1. Performing and adhering to safe electrical isolation procedures for existing live circuits.
2. Installing various low voltage wiring systems and cable containment systems.
3. Issuing installation and condition reports.
4. Testing and energizing systems up to 1000V, including newly installed and modified electrical systems.
5. Ensuring that all operational procedures, safe working practices, and H&S procedures are followed.
6. Completing any reasonable tasks assigned in accordance with your position, with the aim of adding value.
7. Ability to read and interpret electrical schematic diagrams and drawings.
About you
We would like to hear from you if you have:
1. Experience of electrical installations and testing within a process plant environment.
2. Experience of Manufacturing and Industrial sector is essential.
3. 2391 or 2394/5 qualified and must have knowledge of condition reporting.
4. 17th edition qualified.
5. NVQ Level 3 qualification.
6. Level 3 Inspection, Testing & Certification of Electrical Installations.
7. Full UK Driving License.
