Job Summary The Keystone Group's Steel Division comprises of a range of leading brands including Keystone Lintels, IG Masonry Support and Keyfix. As a prominent player in the construction industry, we are committed to delivering innovative solutions that meet the evolving needs of our customers. We are seeking a Technical Sales Manager to work across our Steel Division. In this role, you'll be instrumental in working collaboratively with all Stakeholders to provide tailored solutions that drive specification, project pipeline development, sales growth, and market share expansion across our product range. Responsibilities and Duties Ensure Customer and Area Sales Targets are achieved or exceeded both individually and in support of our wider business; Develop, maintain, and pursue opportunities daily within the sales pipeline; Facilitate Design Team Meetings with key stakeholders; to explore solutions, discuss designs and conduct product demonstrations; Organise and deliver CPD’s to Specifiers, Contractors and Sub Contractors in line with Company targets and strategy; Maintain up-to-date records in company's CRM tool “Keylink”. Appointments and summary notes/actions, new project leads, issues/complaints, pricing feedback, schedule/quote updates and competitor and market intelligence with area; Attend relevant industry events and organise corporate entertainment; Collaborate closely with the broader sales team, spanning across Group brands, as necessary; Instil and maintain a customer service culture where the customer always comes first. This includes customer service culture for our internal and external customers; Work collaboratively with the technical office teams to exceed individual, team and Company targets; Changes in market conditions and business environment may require the role holder to undertake other reasonable tasks related to the position; Champion Health and Safety in the workplace, displaying excellent personal safety and challenging others when unsafe behaviour is observed; Uphold and enhance the positive reputation of The Keystone Group in the marketplace and internally, serving as a role model for colleagues. Qualifications and Skills Ability to understand technical products and systems Preferably, a background in the construction industry, particularly in a specification/sales capacity Demonstrated capability in building and nurturing relationships with essential stakeholders such as architects, contractors, and housebuilders Strong organisational skills. Target driven, tenacious and ambitious. Well-developed communication skills and excellent presentation skills Capacity to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline driven environment Excellent ability to manage time, meet deadlines and plan work to ensure optimum effectiveness.
