Job information Post No. POSN001629 - Apprentice Childcare Flying Start would like to recruit a Childcare Apprentice to work at various settings throughout the City for a period of 12 months. This post represents a fantastic opportunity to develop important skills within the childcare sector. Grade: Apprenticeship 1st Year Grade pro rata The 35 hours a week post, varying hours depending on each settings opening hours (Monday-Friday) 10.30-18:00pm or 8.30-16:00, school term time only. (39weeks per year pro rata) fixed term until the end of March 2025. Flying Start is an initiative from the Welsh Government, aimed at making a positive difference to the lives of children 0-7 years old, to ensure they have a flying start in life. The Newport Flying Start Team is seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and reliable Apprentice to work in partnership with Senior Practitioners, key staff, parents and carers to promote the vision and values of the Flying Start programme. To undertake this Apprenticeship, you must be between the ages of 16-24.
