With operations across the globe and an ever-expanding customer base, this prestigious manufacturer is planning the next part of their recruitment push. Following their recent investment, they are looking for a BOAS qualified Boiler Maintenance Engineer to join their well-established engineering team. The company has multiple sites within the organisation and offers opportunities for employees to train both internally and externally to become the best engineer possible.
Role & Responsibilities:
1. Responsible for day-to-day running of the utility processes, improving and maintaining areas of responsibility.
2. Operate and maintain utility processes, such as Steam Boiler/Generators, Air Compressors, and associated equipment.
3. Drive improvement solutions from start to completion.
4. Effectively communicate with all members of the operations team, including engineering, production, safety, and quality teams.
5. Input into engineering maintenance strategy to eradicate breakdowns.
6. Ensure improvements are sustainable, share knowledge with all team members, and update engineering standards and maintenance.
Knowledge, Skills & Experience:
1. BOAS qualified is ESSENTIAL to do the job.
2. Completed a recognised engineering apprenticeship.
3. Qualified to ONC/HND and NVQ3 or equivalent.
4. Understanding and experience of Steam Boilers, Steam Generators, Air Compressors, and associated equipment.
5. Ideally worked in an FMCG / Food-related industry.
6. Worked in a similar Utilities Role / Boiler Maintenance Engineering position.
