We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Buyer to join our team.
In this role, you will work closely with suppliers to schedule and expedite material deliveries, ensuring they align with our production schedule and meet customer requirements.
Your key responsibilities will include actioning daily MRP exception messages, reviewing ERP recommendations to prepare and schedule purchase orders, and utilising inventory tools to maintain optimal inventory levels. You will manage inventory levels, identify potential supply risks, and escalate issues to the Supply Chain Engineer (Supplier) as needed. Building strong relationships with suppliers to ensure timely and complete deliveries is crucial, as is proactively expediting orders to address customer and production shortages.
Additionally, you will be responsible for maintaining and managing master data within the ERP system, resolving delivery quantity invoice queries, and supporting supplier development activities. Regular reporting on material availability, supplier delivery performance, and financial metrics will also be part of your duties.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in supply chain management, excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team. Qualifications
Experience Requirements:
1. Experience in the use of ERP systems.
2. Experience with and sound knowledge of the basics of inventory management.
3. Good level of IT understanding, including use of common tools such as Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint.

1. Have experience in inventory and material control within a manufacturing environment.
2. Possess excellent relationship building and communication skills.
3. Have great attention to detail, with a methodical and logical analytical approach.
