We are currently recruiting for a Payroll Assistant to join a small payroll team for an SME non-profit organisation based in Harwich. This is an excellent opportunity for an individual looking to thrive and develop within a growing business.
Responsibilities:
1. The preparation and processing for all employees within the business, including pension contributions, deductions, and calculating pay.
2. Maintaining the employee data and accurate payment records, including pay rates, personal details, and changes in salaries or job positions.
3. Provide employees with accurate and timely information when acting as a first point of contact for employee payroll queries and resolve any issues or discrepancies.
4. Ensuring compliance with statutory and company regulations, policies, and procedures.
5. You will be required to offer project support to the rest of the team, helping with the transition of systems within the business.
Requirements:
1. Experience working in Payroll.
2. Level 3 Payroll qualification or equivalent (desirable).
3. Good written communication skills.
4. Excellent administrative, numerical, and organisational skills.
Benefits:
1. Up to £27,696 per annum.
