Our client is a London-based fine art shipping and specialist art logistics provider, serving some of the worlds leading galleries, museums, and private collectors. Their team includes industry-leading professionals with decades of experience in fine art logistics, installation, and storage. They are currently seeking two HGV Drivers to join their Enfield-based team: one for European routes, which involves weekly travel abroad, and one based in London. One to cover European routes, this will include European travel on a weekly basis and one to be based in London. Fine art handling experience, including the ability to load, secure, and manage import/export paperwork, is required for both roles, while artwork installation experience is beneficial but not essential. The European role primarily focuses on warehouse-to-warehouse transport, with occasional direct deliveries, installations, and art fairs, as well as some London-based work. This role includes a time-abroad pay rate of 1.65x the standard day rate, with a per diem of £45 for most locations and £65 for Switzerland and Southern France. The London-based role involves deliveries, collections, and installations across the city. The salary for both positions is £45K - £48K, depending on experience. Responsibilities: Drive HGV vehicles in the assigned location. Conduct direct deliveries and installations when required. Handle art fairs and occasional London-based routes (European Role). Safely load and secure fine art for transport. Manage import/export paperwork for international shipments (European Role). Ensure timely and efficient transportation of goods. Collaborate with the logistics team for scheduling and coordination. Requirements/Experience: Fine art handling experience is required. HGV license with relevant driving experience. Knowledge of how to load, tie off, and secure shipments. Experience with import/export paperwork (European role). Previous artwork installation experience is beneficial but not essential.
