The Administrator will play a crucial role in the daily operations of a transport service provided to schools. This position requires a highly organised individual who can manage a busy workload, handle multiple time-critical tasks, and ensure all processes comply with regulatory standards. The ideal candidate will have exceptional organisational skills, the ability to prioritise effectively, and a commitment to maintaining high levels of accuracy and compliance. Hours are 7.30pm - 4.30pm. Role may require cover to undertake a transfer on occasion if a replacement driver cannot be located. This is not often but is a possible requirement of the role so a driving licence is required (vehicles are provided with full insurance). Key Responsibilities: Scheduling and Coordination : Organise and manage daily schedules for drivers and routes. Communicate with schools, parents, and drivers to confirm pick-up and drop-off times. Adjust schedules as needed in response to changes or emergencies. Compliance Management: Ensure all drivers have up-to-date certifications and background checks. Maintain accurate records of vehicle maintenance, insurance, and inspections. Monitor compliance with all relevant regulations and policies. Administrative Duties: Answer phone calls and emails promptly and professionally. Maintain organised and up-to-date files and records.
