Purpose of the Role As IT Support Technician you will ensure the day-to-day management of the operation in compliance with schedules and expected quality. Monitors the operation of computer equipment within the framework of standards, operating methods and security. You will be based in the Colas Portsmouth location on a hybrid, supporting the Manager. Main Responsibilities The IT Support Technician ensures the management of the operation and executes computer work and reproduces the results of the production, monitors the functioning of the resources of the site, monitors the operation of the production systems and tools, controls the quality management of the results, etc. You will assists with the planning, research, and analysis of systems development, technology integration, capacity planning, data administration, training, and technical support and service The IT Support Technician alerts in cases of major malfunctions and differentiates between minor and major malfunctions and reports the latter. You will manage operational incidents (diagnosis, intervention, alert), performs 1st level troubleshooting application maintenance, informs users, monitors interventions, etc and ensure the physical security of the data in terms of backup and archiving and manages the necessary hardware resources. The Ideal Candidate The ideal candidate will have a bachelor’s degree with previous experience or at least 2 years of experience in a similar technician role (with in-house training). You will also have excellent customer services skills, an awareness of security of IS and system engineering and integration.
