About The Role
We have an exciting opportunity for a Scheduler to join our Team in Milton Keynes.
As the Scheduler you will schedule the activity of Atlas Workplace Services static engineering and facilities assistant’s workforce based on site – both reactive and planned tasks, improving the productivity of engineers in the field and reducing our use of sub-contractors.
From our head office, you'll support our clients and account team, providing proactive and consistent support. This role requires independence, excellent communication, and strong statistical, computer, and administrative skills.
You will be required to be liaise with customers and delivery teams daily.

Principle Duties and Responsibilities
* Plan and schedule all self-delivered PPMs to the relevant engineer dependent on skill-set and proximity to the task
* Plan and schedule all self-delivered reactive tasks, emergency and non-emergency, to the relevant engineer dependent on skill-set and proximity to the task
* Raise and assign work orders to available resources on Atlas Workplace Services CAFM system
* Ensure all statutory PPMs do not exceed their due date, escalating where required to ensure 100% statutory compliance is met
* Ensure all other PPMs do not exceed their due date in line with internal and client targets
* Ensure all reactive tasks are planned in to meet SLAs, dependent on the client’s contractual requirements
* Support the Customer Account Support team to ensure tasks are managed in a timely manner end to end
* Maintain relationships with the engineers and lead engineers to ensure tasks are carried out in line with schedules and any change requirements are fulfilled
* Revise schedules when engineers take planned and unplanned leave
* Reschedule work that cannot be completed on the first visit
* Work with the Regional Engineering Managers to ensure skills and engineer resource information is up to date in the CAFM system
* Liaise with the engineering team to ensure overtime requirements are captured and authorised when scheduling work
* Support the Engineering team objectives for engineer utilization, effectiveness and productivity and job completion on first visit (i.e. First Time Fix)
* Provide work schedules and performance reports to the field and office management team as required
* Perform ad-hoc tasks as directed by your manager.
About You
Minimum Qualifications, Certifications and Training required
* GCSE in English and maths or equivalent
Essential Knowledge, Skills and Experience for this role
* Experience of scheduling a workforce, preferably in a fast and dynamic engineering environment
* Strong knowledge of CAFM scheduling software
* Good understanding of skills/crafts and associated tasks as well as time taken to carry out tasks
* Previous experience of an administration role in an operational environment is essential
* Good understanding of statutory PPM process and compliance
* Good IT skills including Microsoft Office – (Excel and Word)
* Good written and spoken English and a good level of numeracy.
