About the role The typical role of a Hygiene Operative involves working in a small team to complete all required hygiene related tasks. You will work closely with the Key Operatives and others to produce a clean, sterilised production area and equipment. Responsible for COSHH related policies and procedures such as Chemical controls/ Titration controls / adhering to standard operating and cleaning procedures etc Ensure all tasks are carried out according to the standard cleaning procedures in terms of GMP, food safety, presentation and housekeeping Ensure all relevant tasks are completed on time and escalate issues to your direct manager. Examples: a risk to Food Safety, Health and Safety, missing parts, damaged equipment, faulty equipment etc. Create and maintain a tidy working environment, following the clean as you go policy and all daily given tasks Adhere to set processes relating to the site Allergen and Vegan procedures if applicable To sign off all machinery, lines and general equipment that has been cleaned To be responsible for dismantling parts of machinery - must ensure procedures are being followed to reassemble machines ensuring all nuts, bolts, safety guards etc are in place and secured LI-EL1
