Full time Post £24,000 pa working a 34 hour week At Herring House Trust, we believe everyone should have a safe place they call home. We are looking for an enthusiastic Homelessness Support Worker to join our team. You will support and encourage our residents at all stages of their journey, working with people living in our supported accommodation Hostel. You will provide support to each individual to manage their own well-being and to take steps out of homelessness. This is an excellent opportunity for you to work in an accommodation-based service. You will be a part of a small, supportive Team, where your contribution will be valued. You will develop your knowledge and skills and support people with a range of needs. You will want to make a difference and you will have a flexible and creative approach to working. The role will be working a rota inclusive of day shifts, night shifts & some weekends, including bank holidays. You will work a rolling shift pattern of two shifts, followed by 3 days off. It is important to us that you have a good work & home-life balance, so the rota ensures there is ample time between shifts.
