The Touch Up Painters are a key member of the Smulder team and responsible for hand painting any element required by way of "touch up" where the final painted product may have cosmetic paint repairs needed, due to going through rotation, movement and/or transportation throughout the yard during final assembly stages.
The touch up painter is accountable for:
* Cleaning metal works, surface prep and re painting.
* Duties will involve industrial prep and painting on steel beams and structures that are being refurbished.
Your magic skills
The successful candidate will have:
* A minimum of 2 years previous experience in painting/blasting.
* Experience with industrial painting on steel works, along with having an industrial painting qualification such as ICATS or TTP Gold.
* Experience with grit blasting duties, holding the relevant training and/or qualification to carry this work out.
