Freight Sales Coordinator • Permanent• Redditch • Full-time
We are hiring for a leading provider of freight, distribution, and warehousing services. With nationwide haulage. Due to continue growth we are looking for a Sales administrator with experience in the logistics sector, either in a sales or customer service capacity.
This is a full-time on-site role located in Redditch working 35 hour week Monday - Friday. 08.00-16.00
The Freight Sales Coordinator will need to have previously worked within the transport and freight industry.
The Freight Sales Coordinator day-to-day duties are as follows
* supporting the sales team in managing and expanding the customer base.
* Contacting lapsed clients and new potential customers to introduce the full range of transport and logistics services.
* Booking appointments from leads generated by the sales team.
* Dealing with any customer queries, either by telephone or email.
* Dealing with any problems that require escalation.
* Quoting customer rates on any of the core services that the company offer and following up for feedback.
* Producing weekly job figures for bookers and non-bookers.
* Covering emails for the Sales Managers while they are out of the office.
* General admin via emails
The Successful Freight Sales Coordinator must have the following skills/experience
* Interpersonal Skills, Communication, and Customer Service
* organisation Skills
* Attention to detail and strong administrative skills
* Proficient in MS Office Suite
* Previous experience in freight either in sales or customer service
* Knowledge of the freight industry is a must
What’s on offer for the successful Freight Sales Coordinator?
In return you will receive a basic salary of between £25,000-£35,000- depending on your skills and experience. If you previously worked as an internal sales or sales administration within a freight/ transport company then that would give you a distinct advantage in your application for this role, free onsite parking £250 attendance bonus paid quarterly
