Senior Social Worker x 2 (Pre-court Team and Post-court Team)

Our Norfolk Youth Justice Service (YJS) is a statutory multi-agency partnership hosted within Norfolk County Council to prevent children from offending whilst safeguarding their welfare, protecting the public and helping restore the damage caused to the victims of their crimes.

As a YJS Senior Social Worker, you will hold a caseload of the most complex cases, utilising specialist skills to build relationships, spend time and undertake work directly with children and families, and deliver positive change.
We are looking for:
* Social workers who want to expand their expertise into the field of youth justice.
* Motivated professionals who enjoy engaging with adolescents in assessment, planning, and delivering strength-based interventions.
* Social workers who are able to balance the safeguarding of the child alongside the safeguarding of the community at large.

This post will have a locality base but much of your working week will be out and about in the community or working from home, so you must have a driving licence and access to a vehicle to meet the requirements of the post.
In line with our current ways of working, you’ll be expected to be in the office at least 2 days a week, in addition to team days. There is also a requirement to work out of hours on occasions.
