Job title: Relief Personal Assistant
Location: Felinfach: 9-10 hours per week split into sessions mainly evenings and some weekends
Rate of pay: £12 per hour
Introduction:
I am a very active man with some minor learning disabilities, and I am looking for a PA to assist me several evenings per week to help me prepare an evening meal and check dates, so I remember to use up before starting a new packet.
To help me with menu planning, and to store food safely in appropriate separate containers.
Prompt me to remember hand washing prior to cooking.
Support to prepare and cook food e.g., fully defrost frozen food if required, and Support to batch cook.
Main duties
• Assist with preparation and cooking of evening meal.
• Provide patient support prompting the client to maintain food hygiene.
• Provide companionship and engage in conversation appropriate to the service user
• Assist with planning menu to ensure healthy eating
• Keep the family fully informed and work with them to achieve the best outcomes for the service user
• Any other reasonable task associated with the job.

Wages will be paid in arrears on a 4 weekly basis once a valid National Insurance (NI) number has been provided. You must be eligible to work in the UK and your employer will conduct document checks prior to commencement.
You will receive the appropriate annual leave entitlement as well as all other statutory entitlements, details of which will be set out in your contract of employment. You will also be issued with a Personal Assistants Handbook when your employment commences.
You will be expected to undertake any mandatory training identified as relevant to this post. The cost of mandatory training will be met through the direct payment. Failure to attend mandatory training may result in your employment offer being withdrawn.
