An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Stores Operative within our Maintenance, Repair and Overhaul (MRO) Integrated Logistics Centre based in the Bristol Defence Operations Facility.
As a Stores Operative, you will be supporting the work of our Operations team on a range of products for our defence customers.
What you will be doing:
* Coordination and completion of logistics related tasks to support in-shop engine build.
* Logistics support includes receipt and despatch of engine hardware and modules.
* General assistance to the Operations team to enable engine tasks to be completed efficiently including participation in loading/unloading, movement of engines/modules/piece parts.
* Documenting all hardware movements with SAP.
Who we’re looking for:
* You will preferably have a forklift license (B1).
* You will have experience in forklift driving.
* You will have experience of working within SAP.
* You will have good interpersonal skills and the ability to demonstrate flexibility, perseverance and initiative/self-motivation to meet the demands encountered in a maintenance facility.
* The ability to work as part of a team and provide support to other team members as and when required to perform a range of tasks is essential.
Please be aware this position may require working shift patterns.
