A highly reputable Multi-Academy Trust (MAT) is seeking a passionate and dynamic Teacher of Modern Foreign Languages (MFL) to join the permanent staff at one of its growing, improving secondary schools in Essex. Key Responsibilities
* Teach Modern Foreign Languages (French and/or Spanish preferred) to students across Key Stages 3 and 4, with the potential for Key Stage 5 teaching.
* Deliver high-quality, engaging lessons that inspire a love of languages.
* Contribute to curriculum development and departmental improvement initiatives.
* Support the school’s ethos of high expectations and inclusion, ensuring all students achieve their full potential.
* Participate in extracurricular activities and enrichment programs as part of the wider school community.
Requirements
The ideal candidate will possess:
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
* A degree in Modern Foreign Languages or a related field.
* Proven experience teaching MFL in a secondary school setting, with excellent classroom management skills.
* A commitment to continuous professional development and collaborative working.
* Strong communication skills and the ability to build positive relationships with students, colleagues, and parents.
* A passion for promoting cultural awareness and linguistic skills among young people.
