The English and Maths GCSE SEN Tutor will be responsible for providing tailored support and guidance to students with special educational needs (SEN) in English and Maths subjects. Duties include creating individualised learning plans, delivering engaging lessons, assessing students' progress, and adapting teaching methods to meet the diverse needs of each student.
Responsibilities:
1. Create individualised learning plans.
2. Deliver engaging lessons.
3. Assess students' progress.
4. Adapt teaching methods to meet diverse needs.
Minimum Requirements:
1. Recognised teaching qualification.
2. Specialisation in SEN education.
3. Enhanced DBS check.
4. Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Education or related field.
5. At least 2 years of experience in teaching SEN students.
6. Strong understanding of SEN teaching strategies.
7. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
8. Ability to assess student needs and adapt teaching methods accordingly.
9. Postgraduate qualification in SEN education (preferred).
10. Experience working with students preparing for GCSE exams (preferred).
11. Part-time hours, flexible schedule.
12. Classroom-based tutoring sessions.
13. Collaborative work with SEN coordinators and other educators.
