We seek to appoint a highly motivated, outstanding practitioner to work as a Teacher of Music. Applicants should demonstrate a clear vision for the promotion, teaching and learning of Music. Main Job Purpose
1. To consistently teach exemplary lessons which challenge and support all students.
2. To implement and deliver a relevant, rich and engaging curriculum for students and support the Music curriculum area.
3. To monitor students’ progress in order to continue to drive up levels of student achievement in Music and within the college.
4. To deliver appropriate interventions to improve attainment and progress.
5. To provide, facilitate and encourage a learning experience which provides all students with the opportunity to achieve their individual potential.
6. To share and support the College’s responsibility to provide opportunities for students’ personal, spiritual, moral, social and cultural development.
7. To act as a form tutor.
8. To contribute to the wider life of the college.
9. To fully meet the Teachers’ Standards.
