* Performs preventative maintenance activities as per documented schedules and standards on power generation products in the field.
* Escalates unresolved issues to product specialists / Supervisor.
* Completes required documentation, such as service worksheets, timesheets, warranty claims, quality documents via handwritten forms or business system input screens.
* Completes training in line with skill and business requirements.
* Maintains service vehicle and tools for cleanliness and proper operation.
* Ensure adherence to all relevant Health Safety & Environmental policies, procedures and legislation and reports any issues / incidents to site management and to their supervisor.
* The ability to work with minimal supervision Installation.
* Ability to accurately diagnose faults.
* Accurate and timely completion of Service Documentation.
* Highlight upsell opportunities to the Customer and ensure that any rejected opportunities are evident on the Service Worksheet before Customer signature.
Minimum of 3 years experience diagnosing and repairing of Power Generation equipment.
* Mechanical / Electrical experience.
* 18th Edition Electrical qualification preferred.
* Electrical Theory and Troubleshooting.
* Minimum of City & Guilds or equivalent in electrical engineering.
* LV/HV Switchgear experience preferred but not essential.
* Experience in PLC control systems preferred but not essential.
