Technical Project Manager
Location: Mitcham, London
Salary: Up to A GBP 40,000 per annum

The Role
We now have a fantastic opportunity for a Technical Project Manager. As our Technical Project Manager, you will play a critical role in fostering and expanding client relationships, ensuring the seamless execution of projects, and contributing to the overall growth of our company.
In this role, there will be times when you will have to travel within the UK and internationally and working unsociable hours as necessary for the delivery of the event.
Responsibilities:
* Client Relationship Management: Maintain and nurture existing client relationships, including venues, to ensure client loyalty and retention.
* Client Enquiries Handling: Receive and liaise with clients on new project enquiries, ensuring clear and effective communication throughout the process.
* Quotation Management: Create, submit, and manage client quotations, including handling any subsequent revisions to meet client needs.
* Technical Documentation: Create and develop technical documentation including scale plans, schematics and visuals to assist project execution
* Meetings Coordination: Attend site meetings with clients, suppliers, and venues to ensure all parties are aligned.
* Budget and Cost Management: Manage client budgets and supplier costs, leveraging a strong understanding of financial management principles to ensure project profitability.
* Event Logistics: Assist the in:house team with sourcing and booking freelancers, crew, suppliers, and transport for events.
* Warehouse Liaison: Close liaison with the in:house team to ensure all equipment and supplies for the events are ready and well prepared.
* On:site Event Management: Oversee, manage and execute on:site installations from start to finish, serving as the main point of contact and lead during events.
* Crew and Supplier Supervision: Manage the on:site teams including freelance crew and suppliers.
* Health and Safety: Assist with the preparation of all relevant H and S documentation as necessary for a project
Skills and Qualifications
* Previous live events industry experience in technical project coordination, management and execution, ideally in a similar position with an event production company either as an employee or as a freelancer.
* A good working knowledge and experience of event production, lighting, sound, AV and staging
* Ability to create and write proposals and express an idea or concept to a client (either written or verbal)
* Good project management and leadership skills and ability to lead or coordinate a team, including crew and suppliers
* Good understanding of managing budgets, profitability, margins and cost control
* Ability to multitask, in a fast:paced work environment
* Aptness to think critically and creatively, overcome challenges and resolve issues
* Efficient time management and organisational skills with high attention to detail and accuracy
* Effective communication skills
* Strong IT knowledge, ideally familiar with Office 365 (Word, Excel) Technical drawing knowledge, ideally familiar with CAD, Vectorworks software (preferable, not essential)
* Experience of Canva, and PowerPoint (preferable, not essential)
* Full, clean UK driving licence (essential)
* Experience in driving Luton/long wheelbase vans (preferable, not essential)
