Job Advert Location Description
Priory Hospital Barnt Green is located in the stunning Lickey Hills Country Park, 10 miles south of Birmingham City Centre. We have thirty-three beds across three wards including a ten bedded female NHS Psychiatric Intensive Care, a thirteen bedded mixed gender NHS acute service, and a bedded private acute ward beds for both men and women. In addition to providing inpatient services, the hospital has a large Outpatient department and regional conference facilities.
The hospital opened in March 2022 and this is a fantastic opportunity to join a new and developing team, in a brand new hospital located in a beautiful setting.

Requirements:
1. Will be a highly visible Role model, Leader and Senior Member of the Team
2. Experienced in rota management and staffing
3. Passionate about promoting the highest standards of care
4. Committed to providing individualised care for patients in terms of both mental and physical health.
5. Supports junior staff in terms of supervision, continuous professional development and career development
6. Experienced in recruitment and retention
Knowledge, Skills, Qualifications & Abilities:
7. Excellent Leadership and Management Skills
8. Clinical experience within a Multi-disciplinary team
9. Good communicator within all situations
10. Experienced in leading a team
11. Able to focus on staffing and develop staff to meets the needs of the ward
12. Experience of supporting students’
13. Knowledge of Mental Health Legislation and Statutory requirements
14. Experience of investigations, complaints and report writing
