Pro Insurance currently has some exciting opportunities for cash allocation technicians to join our Insurance Services team, and we are open to receiving applications from people with a range of experience levels.
The successful applicants will support our prestigious clients by using their analytical skills to reconcile financial and payment data and investigate discrepancies. It is likely that you will have a background in Financial Services, Banking, Insurance, or a similar industry and have worked in a role where your ability to investigate and analyze financial information has combined with your attention to detail to produce results.
Pro operates a hybrid working model, with time split between working from home and from our Gloucester or Liverpool office as required.
Key responsibilities / tasks may include:
1. Support the day-to-day operational running of the Credit Control function
2. Reconcile payment and financial data
3. Investigate and analyze discrepancies in financial and payment information
4. Analyze discrepancies to determine root causes and make recommendations for correction and ongoing process improvements
5. Raise payment requisitions in Client payment systems, adhering to all Client procedure guidelines for Payment Requisitions
6. Other ad-hoc duties to assist the credit control team
Knowledge, Skills and Experience:
1. Experience of Excel (Intermediate or above) and MS Office software
2. Strong analytical skills
3. Accurate reconciliation skills
4. Effective time management skills with the ability to meet deadlines
5. Ability to work under one’s own initiative and with the confidence to propose solutions to issues, if and when they arise
6. Ability to deliver accurate information with attention to detail
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: £23,000.00-£35,000.00 per year
